GRADE 7 PAG-AMUMA
ADDU JHS has constantly pushed her endeavor to pioneer programs and activities to “be one with the earth, at peace with humanity”(Ecoteneo). The ADDU JHS is responding to hunger and malnutrition that beset the Filipinos today as consequences to the rising issues related to the environment.
Assuming various roles, the students shall be able to organize an Online Ecological Festival that features projects related to the Environment -a sustainable renewable alternative source of good/healthy food - to promote environmental conservation and sustainable development in local communities responsive to concerns related to Covid 19- Pandemic.
GRADE 8 PAKIGHIMATMAT
As Ateneo envisions to proceed “ex corde ecclesiae” - from the heart of the church, She provides all the avenue “where Christian values of sharing, of communion and of participation in life are expressed, shared and lived.” (Archdiocese of Davao 2014).
The students, through the help of their respective parishes and church-bases (for non-Catholics and non-Christians), shall be able to organize an Online Dialogue Summit that utilizes the Urban Container Garden (UCG) as alternative space for communal discussions about community issues such as poor waste management, non-sustainability, decreasing levelS of environmental awareness and sensitivity, community disengagement, problems of the youth, basic problems at home and faith.
GRADE 9 PAKIGDUYOG
ADDU- JHS seeks to empower the young because they are marked by dreams which gather momentum, by relationships that acquire more and more consistency and balance, by trials and experiments, and by choices that gradually build a life project.
The students, through an Online Advocacy Convention, shall be able to propose activities or products to champion their advocacy and social mobilization initiatives to support their partner institutions, which cater to marginalized sectors particularly those stricken with moral and social stigma. In this event, the students shall promote collective responsibility –to push humane humanity.
GRADE 10 PAKIGLAMBIGIT
the program becomes an opportunity to translate what they have learned into action. Their weekly tutoring program can become a concrete experience in which principles of Catholic social teachings and even economic theories can be put into practice and reflection upon.
The students are accompanied to propose a green technology or socio-economic resolutions responsive to an essential condition hampering wealth creation and/or preservation in their partner Tulong-Dunong schools and their respective communities. This shall be done through the project development process.
